Published in 1921, the Myers-Briggs Test is a personality questionnaire based on psychologists Carl Jung and Isabel Briggs Myers’ approach to personalities. In total, there are 16 personality types. The test determines what qualities of your personality are dominant, and is sometimes even used to help determine what career you should choose. ISTJ (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging): You’re quiet and serious, and might not come across as friendly to others at first. You are thorough and dependable. You’re realistic about your expectations and are very responsible. You think logically about your decisions and take pleasure in organization. You value loyalty in friends and romantic partners.
ISFJ (Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging:) You’re quiet, but friendly. You commit fully and meet every obligation and deadline. You’re loyal, and detailed. You remember small details about people, and are concerned about how other people feel about basically everything.
INFJ (Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Judging): You’re always trying to find meaning in everything. You want to know what motivates people, and you’re very insightful. You stick to your values, and are very decisive.
INTJ (Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Judging): You have a creative mind and always have ideas. You’re always trying to each your goals. You’re not quick to trust others, and you’re very independent. You also set very high standards for yourself.
ISTP (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving): You’re very tolerant and flexible. You carefully analyze possible decisions before you make one. You also value efficiency and enjoy solving problems and conflicts, but you’re also ok with standing idly by.
ISFP (Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving): You’re kind, friendly, and sensitive. You enjoy the moment and what’s happening around you. You value your space, and you also value the people most important to you. You don’t like conflict, and you aren’t quick to share your opinions with others.
INFP (Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Perceiving): You have a curious mind and are always open to new things. You’re also open to helping other people reach their full potential. You adjust to change easily, but won’t sacrifice your values for anything.
INTP (Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Perceiving): You analyze everything, and seek a logical explanation for everything that interests you. You’re more interested in ideas than socializing. You’re very focused on your interests, and are skeptical of others.
ESTP (Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, Percieving): Theories and explanations bore you. You like problems to be solved immediately. You‘re spontaneous and enjoy being active with other people. You learn best through doing things.
ESFP (Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving): You’re outgoing and accepting of others. You love life and people, but you still have a realistic approach to things.
ENFP (Extroverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Perceiving): You’re enthusiastic and imaginative, and you believe life is full of many possibilities. You seek affirmation from others and love giving others support. You’re spontaneous and flexible, and love to improvise.
ENTP (Extroverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Perceiving): You’re outspoken, quick and resourceful when it comes to solving problems and conflict. You’re really good at reading other people, and routine bores you.
ESTJ (Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging): You’re practical and matter-of-fact. You’re also quick to make decisions. You enjoy organizing projects, but tend to get a little bit forceful when it comes to other people following your routine.
ESFJ (Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging): You’re cooperative and value harmony in your environments, and you’ll do anything to keep it that way. You like to work with others and appreciate loyalty and punctuality. You’re always trying to help people, and you like feeling appreciated.
ENFJ (Extroverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Judging): You’re emotional, empathetic, and responsible. You’re very aware of your emotions. You’re loyal and take criticism well, and you appreciate praise.
ENTJ (Extroverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Judging): You’re honest and decisive, and always seek the leadership role. You enjoy long-term planning. You’re always informed and well-read, but you tend to be forceful with your ideas.
