Usually when a spouse passes away, there is usually always a heartfelt tribute. Coping with the passing of a loved one is different for many too, but this video following the death of this woman’s husband was a real eye opener of him not being her “loved one”.
“I know you’re not going to understand why I’m doing this,” said Marsha Widener at the beginning of the video, followed by showing a box that is holding the ashes of her late spouse, Don Widener. Quite shockingly she then explains, “His family don’t want him, his brother doesn’t want him around, his kids doesn’t want him – actually, they want him to go in the gutter or the toilet.”
Marsha then goes on to say that Don’s employment was removal of trash from business premises to the landfill, and that it was appropriate that this was where he would meet his end.
“This is for all the pain and all the turmoil he has caused my children and myself and what he calls his parents. This is his goodbye.” said as she unties the bag that holds his ashes and pours them into a bin bag. “This is for all the times he kicked me in the head – yup, he put my head through a window.”
Some ashes fall to the ground and she crushes them into the dirt with her foot, the rest go into the bin including the bag with her final words being “Adios amigo!”
It is hoped that Marsha’s life will be better sans Don.
