Adidas and Nice Kicks are bringing their partnership, which once generated one of the most desired NMDs of all time, back to life. This time around, they’re revising the German brand Ultraboost. The Ultraboost shoe is the result of the collaboration between Nice Kicks and Adidas and the shoe has a tie-dye pattern.
The inspiration for this project is the music festival Woodstock, which took place in 1969. At Woodstock, people from all over the world came together to enjoy music, peace, and love. This year is Woodstock’s 50th anniversary and the celebration was planned for August (the same as in 1969) but unfortunately, the event was canceled by investors.
Nevertheless, Adidas and Nice Kicks commemorate Woodstock in their own way: with the creation of a bright tie-dye sneaker. The tie-dye design is a real throwback to the ’60s, however, this trend has made a come back a while ago so it is still very suitable today.
