An artist named Jill Bliss has captured the most beautifully unexpected colors of mushrooms in her striking series of Nature Medleys. Jill describes herself as a “modern nomad of the Salish Sea” and takes these amazing photos during her daily walks around the magnificent islands and waterways of the Pacific Northwest. Through this collection of nature photography Jill really captures they area’s exquisite biodiversity.
For each shot Jill arranges different fungi, flora and other elements to create a beautiful and balanced polychromatic cluster. Every one of these ‘Nature Medleys’ presents a unique color mixture. Other than mushrooms Jill also adds fungi of all different shapes and sizes in her arrangements to further showcase the variety of natural elements available and her special way of appreciating it.
