We all know that males and females are different. To name a few, some of these differences include behavior, DNA, hormones and risk of disease.

Our DNA is in charge for a lot that happens in our bodies. A key difference between men and women are the sex chromosomes. Men have an X and a Y chromosome and women have two X chromosomes. Whether you’re an XX or XY will dictate how you grow and respond to different exposures during pregnancy.
In a minority of the population, people with either XY (boy) or XX (girl) chromosomes may develop in a way atypical for the sex these combinations usually determine.
