Weekly Horoscope February 5th – 12th: The Aftermath Of Last Week’s Insanity
How did you experience the hectic energies from last week. It isn’t over yet BUT we are through the toughest part.
We are reeling under the influence of the full Moon lunar eclipse that occurred last Wednesday and continues to leave its impact on all of us this week as well. The location of the Moon in our individual horoscopes is where we look to find the action unfolding. The Moon represents our emotions and is depicted as the mother in astrology interpretations. As such, topics that involve anything maternal and domestic are likely areas of emphasis. The most important aspect of the Moon is the placement or house that it occupies when the eclipse occurred.
We look at the placement to determine how the influence will play out. As we head into this week we see the Moon and Mars aligning together which can express as any of the themes that define Mars. Since Mars is the planet of aggression, anger, ambition amdn action we might see all of those qualities coming to light as the Moon joins forces with the fiery planet.
Elsewhere we see a busy and intellectually stimulating time for Aquarians. With the Sun moving through Aquarius at this time we see both Mercury and Venus involved in the conversation. Mercury brings a communicative topic to light and that is best seen in the air quality of Aquarius.
Air is the element that defines the sign of Aquarius. Intellect and all things cerebral are what we can expect to witness. Since Mercury is a fast-moving planet this influence is likely to be fleeting, yet impactful, nonetheless. Mercury drives the conversation as curiosity, research, commentary and all topics that involve communication are highly likely. Since Aquarius is an air sign, this type of influence is particularly relevant. Aquarius is group-oriented sign and they seek to influence the greater collective in ways that are progressive. The self-less quality of Aquarius is one of the more endearing character traits of this fixed air sign and, as a result, we often find people who work for the greater good of humanity with a noticeable Aquarian trait.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
The week ahead may provide you with greater access to business associates. With that in mind you may be discussing new terms of agreement or contractual obligations as a talking point. You may be emotionally motivated to secure negotiations and while that may find you overly engaged you may also be able to settle on favorable terms.Taurus (April 20- May 20)
Your focus may be work-centered this week as you try and exert your opinions and influence there. You may be overly emotional regarding this topic so tread carefully and try to withhold any rash or unsavory comments that could be harmful. If a power struggle ensues, you may find that you are more effective reserving your opinions.
Gemini (May 21 – June 21)
Expect to be motivated by research topics this week as travel and education drive the conversation for you. With your ruling planet, Mercury in Aquarius you may be pursuing topics that are centered on a venture that works towards a community-oriented project. Stimulation is the operative word for you this week. Emotions may be visible.
Cancer (June 22 – July 22)
You may be pulled into conversations with large organizations this week. Such talks might involve your role in your daily work routine. How these two topics overlap may be witnessed in the dialog in which you engage. Emotions may run high so prepare yourself and try to avoid being over-sensitive to the outcome.
